If admission becomes impossible due to the Ministry of Justice's denial of visa issuance or visa extension, the full tuition will be refunded. Refunds can only be made to a Korean bank account in the student's own name (a third party may receive the refund if a power of attorney signed by the parent, with proven family relationship, or by the student themselves, is attached). [Selection Criteria] A. Applicants whose combined document and interview evaluation score is below 60 points will be disqualified. B. Applicants with incomplete submitted documents or who do not attend the interview will be disqualified. C. Even if an applicant passes, the acceptance will be canceled if the visa is not issued. D. If it is discovered that the submitted documents contain [false statements] or [forgery/alteration], or if any other fraudulent act is committed, the acceptance and admission will be canceled. E. If there is any disqualifying issue with the change of status of stay for the D-2 (study abroad) visa before the start date of the semester, the acceptance and admission will be canceled. F. If the visa is denied by the local consulate after the start date of the semester, the student will be expelled. [Admission Procedure] ① Online submission of the application form → ② Submission of application documents (by mail or in person) → ③ Document screening → ④ Self-administered language assessment → ⑤ Interview screening → ⑥ Announcement of successful applicants → ⑦ Payment of tuition (virtual account) → ⑧ Submission of documents proving financial capability → ⑨ Issuance of the Standard Admission Certificate → ⑩ Visa application and issuance → ⑪ Admission. [Application Method] Apply online (scan and upload the application form and required documents via the application link https://idu.induk.ac.kr/ipsiJiwon.do), then submit the original documents. After registration, applicants must verify their registration status on the website.

Scholarships

Scholarships for transfer students will be announced later (per the original guidelines). The new-student admission scholarship table above is not indicated as applicable to transfer students.

Before you apply

  • Departments exclusively for international students are composed entirely of international students, with 2 days of in-person classes per week (3 days for the K-BEAUTY department). General departments, which are not exclusively for international students, have 3-5 days of classes per week.
  • There are similar recruitment units (department names), so please check the department name accurately when applying (e.g., Department of Global Business Administration / Department of Global Business Administration (English Track)).
  • In principle, all documents must be submitted in original form (except for documents explicitly stated to be submitted as copies, and copies must be verified by the staff in charge of international students at the Office of International Affairs).
  • Documents written in a language other than Korean or English must be translated and notarized into Korean or English and submitted together with the original. If a copy must unavoidably be submitted, it must be a copy that has been certified against the original by the issuing institution or by the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Korea in the relevant country.
  • Only documents issued within the most recent 6 months based on the application deadline will be accepted (documents with a validity period stated as after March 2027 will be accepted).
  • If the English spelling of the name on the submitted documents differs, a certificate of identity verification issued by a court or the head of a diplomatic mission in the relevant country must be attached to prove that it is the same person. If the parents are divorced or deceased, documents issued by the government of the country of residence proving this must be submitted.
  • Academic background must be verified by one of the following: Apostille certification, consular authentication by the Korean consulate in the resident country or by the home country's consulate in Korea, or a certification report from the China Higher Education Student Information (CHSI) center (for graduates of Chinese secondary vocational schools, etc., the separate review criteria in the guidelines apply).
  • Submitted documents will not be returned, and failure to submit requested additional documents will result in disqualification.
  • Documents submitted by registered mail must arrive by the submission deadline. In-person submission is accepted from 10:00 to 17:00 during the document submission period, and is not available on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
  • If it is found that information in the documents submitted by an admitted applicant is false, or that admission was obtained through fraudulent means, the admission may be revoked even if the student is currently enrolled.
  • Even if admitted, if a visa is denied, the admission will be revoked; if the visa is denied by the local consulate after the start date of the semester, the student will be dismissed.
  • Applicants must provide a domestic and overseas contact number, e-mail, and address that can be reached during the screening period, and applicants themselves are responsible for any disadvantage resulting from being unreachable or from incorrect information provided.
  • Transfer admission is a process in which a person who has completed at least 1 year at a school affiliated with our university transfers into the 2nd year, and only those who have obtained TOPIK level 3 or higher may apply.
  • Credits completed at the previous university will be recognized up to a maximum of 1/2 of the graduation credits, according to the credit recognition standards of the department to which the student is transferring.
