Terms & policies

Terms of Service

Effective 2026-10-18

These terms set out the conditions for using OmniApply (the website omniapply.kr and the Android app, the "Service") provided by REBATEKOREA Inc. (the "Company"), and the rights and duties of the Company and members. The Korean version is the official text; this English version is a translation.

1. The Service

The Service offers the following to international students preparing to study at Korean universities.

  • University and program information, and recommendations based on your profile
  • A document vault and preparing and submitting applications (with payment of the document handling fee on submission)
  • Consultation bookings and messages with universities, journey guidance and a learning centre
  • A community and mentoring by current students
  • Referral codes

Admission decisions are made by each university. University information, recommendations, automatic translations and AI-written guidance in the Service are for reference only and may be wrong or out of date — please check important details in the university’s official admission guide.

2. Sign-up and your account

  • You can sign up with an email address or a Google account. By signing up you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • You must not sign up with false information or someone else’s information. Applications must contain your own, accurate details.
  • You are responsible for your account and password and may not transfer or lend them to anyone.

3. Submitting applications

  • Submitted applications are reviewed by the operations team first and then forwarded to the university. The operations team or the university may ask you to supplement them.
  • The application and document copies at the time of submission are kept as records and are not deleted when you delete your account (Privacy Policy section 5).

4. Document handling fee, payment and refunds

  • The document handling fee is what you pay the Company when you first submit an application, for the Company handling the receipt, review and forwarding of your application documents to the university. It does not include any application fee or tuition set by the university.
  • The amount is shown in Korean won (KRW) on the screen before you pay and is fixed at the time of payment. The amount may differ by program, or be waived.
  • You pay by credit or debit card just before submitting the application, in the payment window of the payment service provider connected through PortOne. The Company does not store the full card number, CVC or expiry date (Privacy Policy sections 1 and 4).
  • When you resubmit an application the operations team returned to you for supplements, the payment you already made is used and you do not pay again.

Refunds are made as follows.

You paid but have not submitted yet
Tap [Cancel payment] in the app for a full refund.
You delete your account while holding a payment that has not been used to submit
The payment is cancelled automatically when the deletion is processed, and you get a full refund.
The operations team rejects the application after you submit
Full refund (the payment is cancelled automatically when the application is rejected).
The operations team asks for supplements
No refund; the same payment is used when you resubmit.
After the application has been forwarded to the university
No refund. The operations team may still refund in an exceptional case after reviewing the circumstances.
The same application was paid twice
The later payment is cancelled in full.
  • A card payment cancellation can take 3 to 7 business days, counted by the card company, to appear in your card statement.
  • Right of withdrawal: the right of withdrawal under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce is guaranteed to the extent that Act provides, regardless of the refund rules above. You can request withdrawal and refunds through [Cancel payment] in the app or at rebatekorea@gmail.com.

5. Content you post (community and mentoring)

You are responsible for the posts, replies, photos and messages you post. You allow the Company to display that content in the Service and to show automatic translations of it in other languages.

The following are prohibited:

  • Abuse, harassment or threats, and discrimination or hate based on nationality, race, gender, religion and the like
  • Sexual, violent or illegal content
  • Fraud, false information, or impersonating another person or organisation
  • Spam, advertising, flooding, or promotion that leads people to other services
  • Posting other people’s personal information (contact details, passport, address, etc.) without consent
  • Content that infringes copyright or other rights of others
  • Trading items prohibited by the community rules
  • Reporting: community posts and replies and mentoring chats can be reported to the operations team with the report button on the screen.
  • Blocking: you can block an author in the community and a chat partner in mentoring.
  • Action by the operations team: the team reviews reported content and the conversation needed to judge it, and where it breaks these rules takes the necessary action, such as hiding or deleting posts or suspending mentor activity. Posts reported by several members may be hidden automatically until the team reviews them, and posts may be checked by AI and flagged for the team’s review.

6. Mentoring

  • Mentors are members who have proved they are enrolled at a university and have been approved by the operations team. An approved mentor’s profile is shown publicly on the university page.
  • Mentoring is an exchange of information between members; a mentor’s advice is not official guidance from the university or the Company.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. What is deleted and what is kept is described in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.

8. Changes to the Service and these terms

  • The Company may change the Service or stop part of it, and will announce changes that matter to members in the Service in advance.
  • These terms are effective from 2026-10-18. If they change, we will announce it in the Service before the change takes effect.

9. Limitation of liability and disputes

  • Unless caused by the Company’s intent or negligence, the Company is not responsible for universities’ admission decisions, information exchanged between members, or content posted by members.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
